Shoulder Part 3

Ortho appt today:
PT consistently over a 5-6 weeks: no lessening of pain/no more strength/no more resilient. Dead arm some mornings. Pain and dead arm is somewhat unusual for SLAP lesion.
On the positive side. Some "tightening up" and seemed to arrest total atrophy but still pushing no more than 3-5 lbs on certain axises

Dr Visit (Caldwell)
3 options-More PT (been there done that with no improvement). Injections to try to get weight up in PT therefore strengthening. Scope it.

I elected injections to do make every attempt before surgery (which is not 100%). Do injections, work it 6 weeks, evaluate. If in say 4 weeks going nowhere-go ahead and schedule. Dr not Very optimistic

Scope notes--if go in and trim frayed Labrum-1 week in sling-immediate work-6 week recovery. If go in and have to anchor Labrum-1 month in sling-intense PT-6 month recover, no way to tell until go in.
